January 6, 2009

Due to personal reasons, we will no longer be writing for this blog.  Ben6623 and I will write for a new blog once spring football arrives, but I cannot speak for Prideford on this issue.

Thanks for reading.

Dantonio gets pay raise

December 27, 2008

127After rumors of potential interest in numerous high profile jobs, it looks like Mark Dantonio will be the head man in East Lansing for some time to come. No, there isn’t an extension. But Dantonio will receive a hefty payraise from $1.13 to $1.8 million dollars, and could even add a $2 million bonus if he sticks around through 2016.

Interestingly enough, in 2016 Dantonio will be 60 years old. He has said he would like to retire at age 60. But back on topic, he was reached for comments in Orlando: Click Here

Welcome to BigTenFever

November 28, 2008

Hey, there!

As you can see above, I’m djkhawk.  Along with two guys named prideford and ben6623, I will be writing the content you see in this blog.  All three of us are regular members at BigTenFever.com (a Big Ten forum), where we spend time discussing varying topics.  We’re always looking for new members, so check it out if you have time.

This blog will primarily cover college football within the Big Ten Conference, but I’m quite sure we might branch out from time-to-time.  While college football season is nearing its last days, college basketball season is just beginning, so I would not doubt seeing a little college basketball leak into our coverage.  Most of the time, however, our coverage will be college football-related.

Given that we have three contributors, I’m hoping we can provide you with new and different content on a regular basis.  Despite this, we cannot claim to know everything.  Should you notice inaccuracies in our stories, just let us know about them and they will get corrected.  Likewise, if you see a relevant story we should cover, let us know about it and we might churn something out for you.

Lastly, I would like to personally extend my welcome to you – the readers – once again.  I look forward to providing quality and reliable information to you within this blog.

Peace.
